In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse activities, ensuring efficient inventory management, streamlined logistics, and optimal team performance. Your leadership will drive process improvements, enhance supply chain efficiency, and uphold safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape operational excellence within a fast-paced environment, fostering continuous improvement and strategic growth. Duties Manage daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery and accuracy. Oversee warehouse staff, providing supervision, training, and motivation to maintain high productivity and safety standards. Implement process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean methodologies and continuous improvement strategies to optimize workflows. Coordinate transportation planning and management using transportation management systems (TMS) to streamline freight movement and reduce costs. Monitor supply chain activities including procurement, demand planning, production planning, and logistics to align with company goals. Maintain accurate records. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL), NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and freight carriers to ensure seamless distribution operations. Maintain DOT records. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to forklift operation, shipping & receiving procedures, and warehouse distribution activities. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a logistics or supply chain environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse management Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies. Supervisory experience leading diverse teams in fast-paced environments with a focus on safety and efficiency. Proficiency in forklift operation certification is preferred; additional certifications in supply chain or logistics are advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments including purchasing, production planning, dispatching, and fleet management.
