Full Job Description Pay:
Based on Experience CH Knight, Inc. is seeking a reliable, organized, hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory, equipment maintenance, trailers, and fleet readiness. This is not a desk job. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time working in the warehouse, organizing equipment, loading trailers, performing repairs, maintaining inventory systems, and ensuring equipment is event-ready at all times. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, solves problems independently, and maintains high standards without constant supervision. Responsibilities Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse Ensure all equipment is event-ready at all times Load and unload trailers and box trucks Organize and maintain warehouse inventory Apply and maintain equipment labels and QR tracking systems Conduct regular inventory audits and inspections Maintain equipment, carts, and accessories Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance Repair vinyl armrests and other equipment components Perform light woodworking and fabrication projects Ensure carts and equipment are stocked and prepared for upcoming events Manage warehouse layout and storage systems Identify and resolve maintenance issues before they become operational problems Conduct monthly trailer inspections Monitor trailer tags, lighting, tires, jacks, and overall condition Maintain company vehicles and equipment to operational standards Required Qualifications Valid driver's license Clean driving record Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check Ability to drive box trucks safely and confidently Experience towing, backing, and maneuvering trailers Ability to safely lift, move, push, and maneuver heavy equipment Ability to repeatedly lift 75+ pounds and move equipment weighing several hundred pounds using proper equipment and techniques Strong mechanical aptitude Comfortable using hand tools and power tools Experience with woodworking, repairs, fabrication, or construction-related work Experience performing basic maintenance and repairs Strong organizational skills Attention to detail Ability to work independently Ability to identify problems and resolve them without constant supervision Self-starter who takes ownership of responsibilities and follows tasks through to completion Reliable attendance and dependability Preferred Qualifications Warehouse management experience Inventory management experience Fleet or trailer maintenance experience Experience using inventory tracking systems Experience with QR code tracking systems Upholstery or vinyl repair experience What Success Looks Like Warehouse remains clean and organized Equipment is event-ready at all times Inventory is accurate and easy to locate Trailers and vehicles are properly maintained Event crews can quickly find the equipment they need Preventable equipment failures are minimized Problems are identified and corrected before events occur Tasks are completed without requiring constant direction from management The warehouse operates efficiently even when management is focused on other areas of the business What We're Looking For This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in organization, likes working with their hands, and enjoys fixing problems before they become emergencies.
