Warehouse Manager - Iron Horse Companies About Iron Horse Companies Since our establishment in 2009, Iron Horse Companies has grown into one of the largest Commercial Plumbing Contractors in the state. We specialize in a variety of projects including Multifamily, Hotels, Schools, and Commercial Construction. As our company continues to grow across multiple regions and expand our mechanical and construction operations, we are looking for dedicated professionals who want to grow with us. Position Overview Iron Horse Companies is seeking an experienced and organized Warehouse Manager to oversee our Flagstaff, AZ warehouse operations. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of our materials warehouse including receiving, inventory control, equipment management, and coordinating material logistics to support active construction projects across the region. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse or materials management within the construction, plumbing, or mechanical trades. This individual must be highly organized, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining accuracy and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Oversee all daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, organization, and distribution of materials and equipment Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories Coordinate material deliveries and pickups with vendors, suppliers, and field teams Issue materials and tools to field crews and project teams in a timely and organized manner Manage and maintain warehouse equipment including forklifts, vehicles, and hand tools Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, safe, and compliant with company and OSHA standards Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and procurement to anticipate material needs and avoid project delays Process purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery receipts accurately Track and manage surplus materials, returns, and warranty items Train and supervise warehouse staff as the team grows Qualifications 3+ years of warehouse management or materials management experience, preferably in construction, plumbing, or mechanical contracting Forklift certified preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with inventory or ERP software a plus Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license required Knowledge of plumbing, mechanical, or construction materials preferred What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays 401(k) with company match Career advancement opportunities within a rapidly growing company Team-oriented environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
