In this role you will oversee all aspects of warehouse management — from distribution and inventory control to team development and safety compliance. Your leadership will drive efficiency, support continuous improvement, and foster a collaborative, high-performance environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure seamless operations. Manage warehouse distribution processes, coordinating with transportation providers and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to meet delivery deadlines. Oversee inventory control procedures using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to maintain accurate stock levels. Lead and develop a team of warehouse staff and supervisors, promoting a culture of safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. Implement process improvements to optimize workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and maintain safety compliance in accordance with OSHA standards. Ensure proper operation of forklifts and other mechanical equipment through training oversight and regular safety checks. Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records, conduct audits, and oversee heavy-lift operations while adhering to established safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills Extensive experience in warehouse management, with a strong background in inventory management and logistics coordination. Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with prior experience in a warehouse supervisor or manager role strongly preferred. Deep understanding of warehouse distribution processes, materials handling, and shipping and receiving procedures. Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), AS400, and other logistics software tools; working knowledge of OSHA safety standards. Mechanical knowledge of warehouse equipment including forklifts and heavy machinery. Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated focus on process improvement, efficiency, and safety. Excellent communication skills for team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and working with external partners such as 3PL providers.
