Job Description

Overview KMG Imports, LLC is a growing wholesale distribution company serving vape shops, smoke shops, convenience stores, gas stations, and retail businesses nationwide. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong operational management experience, a proven ability to improve warehouse efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy, productivity, and safety. Position Summary The Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all warehouse activities to ensure efficient receiving, storage, inventory control, and order fulfillment. This position oversees warehouse personnel, develops operational procedures, and works closely with sales, purchasing, and executive management to support company growth and customer satisfaction. Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations Manage all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and returns. Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on schedule. Monitor warehouse performance and implement improvements to increase productivity and efficiency. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse processes. Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety regulations. Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee inventory control processes. Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Optimize warehouse layout and storage utilization. Team Leadership Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff. Establish performance goals and monitor employee productivity. Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment. Provide coaching and development opportunities for warehouse employees. Manage scheduling and staffing requirements. Logistics & Compliance Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and freight providers. Monitor shipping costs and warehouse operating expenses. Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and industry standards. Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and customer service. Implement warehouse technology, automation, and process improvements where applicable. Generate operational reports and provide recommendations to management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Minimum 5 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience. Minimum 3 years of management experience overseeing warehouse teams. Experience in wholesale distribution, supply chain management, or logistics operations. Experience in the vape, smoke shop, convenience store, or consumer packaged goods industry preferred. Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse best practices. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move products up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform warehouse duties as needed. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment. What We're Looking For Strong leadership and team management skills.
