The Warehouse Account Manager works directly within Solutions Engineering Team to ensure the business secured during pursuit and award phase are translated into executable operations procedure. Accountable for Operations Support for multiple warehouse sites offering crossdock, transload and fulfillment product. The objective of this role is to provide support to dray, warehouse and yard operations to holistically deliver world class services to MEDLOG customers. The Warehouse Account Manager will drive operations excellence and customer satisfaction through agreed upon SOP and Operations Key Performance Indexes (KPI).Key Responsibilities:
Implement new and existing programs awarded by the customers. Complete customer and vendor operations on-boarding tasks. Ensure finance and accounting alignment (with Finance team) Define and implement customer and vendor invoicing cycle. Review and approve all SOPs and IOPs developed by Operations Managers. Provide on-going support and review of Operations procedures to ensure continuous improvement for all customer's operations. Develop and strengthen relationships with key decision makers within client organization. Responsible continuously improve operations and customer satisfaction, client KPI's, and contract renewal for assigned accounts. Manage Vendor / 3PLs - ensure 3PLs performed as per MEDLOG SLA and KPI Work with all product operations associates and managers to drive improvements within assigned clients.Other Responsibilities:
Travel domestically and maybe internationally to the extent required by the client. 30-40% domestic travel (air travel required with overnight). Work with Operations Team to ensure operational contingency planning is done where needed. Enforce financial KPI (invoicing and a/r timeliness). Performs other position-related duties as specified by management. Drive Health, Safety and Security awareness at all warehouse sites. Raise awareness of safety security PPE for all warehouse employees.Education and Warehouse Experience:
10+ years of practical and related experience in domestic and international logistics. Leadership experience in developing and leading high functioning teams.Technical Skills and Competencies:
Ability to develop new and innovative operational solutions. Excellent networking, relationship building/maintenance, and communication and presentation skills. In depth understanding of Warehouse product and solutions. Financial acumen. Ability to make effective decisions, and experience managing projects and risk. Project Management Skills and continuous improvement experience. High computer skills, to include, but not be limited, to Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Power BI.Work Authorization:
