This hybrid role combines timely medication delivery with in-pharmacy operational support. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable using computers while maintaining excellent communication with patients and healthcare staff. This role is critical to daily operations, and success depends on being a team player who takes ownership of responsibilities and follows through consistently . Schedule Monday through Friday Typical hours: 9:30/10:00 AM - 5:30 PM Must be flexible for evening deliveries Key Responsibilities Delivery Duties Deliver medications to patients, clinics, and healthcare facilities in a timely and professional manner Plan efficient delivery routes using online tools Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain required signatures Handle medications securely and in compliance with pharmacy standards Communicate delivery updates, delays, or issues promptly to the team Pharmacy Clerk Duties Use pharmacy software to look up patient profiles, review notes, and follow instructions Understand basic Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and assist with determining when to charge patients Process and check in delivery tickets accurately Assist with general pharmacy workflow and administrative tasks Answer phones and communicate clearly with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers Teamwork & Accountability Work collaboratively with pharmacists, technicians, and staff to ensure smooth daily operations Take ownership of assigned routes, deliveries, and tasks from start to finish Be dependable— show up on time, prepared, and ready to contribute every day Communicate proactively when issues arise instead of waiting for direction Hold yourself to a high standard of accuracy, professionalism, and follow-through Support team members when needed to ensure patient care is not disrupted Qualifications Valid California Driver's License (Required) Clean driving record (Required for insurance eligibility) Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable using computers and learning pharmacy systems Ability to read, understand, and apply written instructions and patient notes Good verbal and written communication skills Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Compliance & Requirements Must be willing to complete HIPAA training and all other required onboarding and annual compliance trainings Must agree to a background check , if required, in accordance with applicable laws Must adhere to all patient privacy, confidentiality, and pharmacy compliance standards Preferred (but not required) Previous pharmacy, medical, or healthcare experience Delivery driving experience (medical or courier preferred) Familiarity with insurance billing or pharmacy operations Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry packages (typically up to 25 lbs) Ability to drive for extended periods throughout the day What We Offer Stable, full-time weekday schedule Opportunity to grow within pharmacy operations Supportive team environment Important Note This position requires eligibility to be added to the company's auto insurance policy.
