Full-time, On-site Reports to: Owner / Executive Operations About the Role We are a high-volume e-commerce brand seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse execution, people management, and problem-solving across a fast-moving fulfillment environment. This is a leadership role , not a passive or hands-off position. We are looking for someone who can own the floor , make decisions in real time, and keep operations running smoothly. If you are calm under pressure, direct but fair, and capable of leading teams through busy days this role may be a great fit. Core ResponsibilitiesWarehouse & Fulfillment Operations Oversee daily warehouse operations including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory flow. Ensure orders are shipped accurately, on time, and according to SOPs. Monitor workload and adjust staffing or priorities as needed to meet volume demands. Troubleshoot operational issues immediately and escalate only when appropriate. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards at all times. People Leadership (25-30 Team Members) Act as the on-site leader for warehouse staff across shifts Hold employees accountable to attendance, performance, and conduct expectations Lead correctional and disciplinary conversations professionally and consistently Support, coach, and develop leads and team members Ensure the warehouse is never left without leadership coverage Scheduling & Coverage Create and manage schedules to ensure proper coverage during all operating hours Handle call-outs, shift changes, and coverage gaps without disruption to operations Coordinate with leadership on staffing needs and hiring support Training & SOP Enforcement Enforce established SOPs and operational policies Participate in training new hires (initial training may occur during day shifts) Ensure ongoing retraining and adherence to processes as the business evolves Inventory & Accuracy Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution Work closely with leadership on inventory controls and loss prevention Ensure proper handling of materials, packaging, and finished goods Communication & Accountability Maintain clear, timely communication with leadership regarding: Staffing issues Operational risks Missed goals or recurring problems Document incidents, performance issues, and resolutions clearly and professionally Hiring, Staffing & Workforce Management Serve as the primary warehouse point of contact for staffing agencies (e.g., Adecco or similar) Communicate daily staffing needs, schedule changes, performance feedback, and coverage gaps to agency partners Assist in interviewing, selection, and placement of temporary and permanent warehouse staff Oversee onboarding logistics for new hires, including orientation, floor training coordination, and role assignments Ensure all new team members (temp and permanent) are trained on safety, SOPs, and performance expectations Monitor temp performance and recommend conversions, terminations, or reassignments as needed Comfortable owning hiring coordination and staffing communication Including working directly with temp agencies, addressing performance issues early, and ensuring new hires are trained correctly from day one.
