WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Enterprise Order Solutions (EOS) | Ontario, CA 91761 Full-Time | Exempt | Reports to: Director of Operations /General Manager Compensation:
$70,000 - $75,000 annually, DOE | Bonus EligiblePOSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Manager at EOS owns full operational accountability for a multi-function 3PL warehouse environment covering inbound receiving, putaway, pick and pack, outbound shipping, freight coordination, and inventory control. This is not a supervisory position — it is an operational leadership role with direct ownership of labor cost, throughput, accuracy, compliance, and KPI performance. The right candidate has managed high-volume warehouse operations under measurable KPI targets, understands how to drive performance through systems and people, and holds their team accountable to documented standards. This role operates through EOS's Flying Fish WMS and is expected to enforce scan compliance, reporting integrity, and SOP execution at all times.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Execution Own daily execution of inbound receiving, putaway, pick and pack, outbound shipping, and freight coordination across all active workflows Enforce Flying Fish WMS scan compliance, workflow accuracy, and data integrity across all warehouse functions Maintain dock-to-stock cycle times within defined KPI targets; identify and resolve bottlenecks proactively Direct and oversee cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and shrink reduction initiatives Ensure all outbound shipments (FedEx, UPS, LTL, ground, express) depart on time and with verified accuracy Coordinate inbound container scheduling, unloading assignments, and space utilization planning Labor and Cost Management Build and manage daily labor schedules aligned to volume forecasts and throughput targets Control overtime utilization; justify exceptions in writing and escalate unresolved cost variances Maintain productivity targets (units per labor hour) and address underperformance through coaching and corrective action Align staffing decisions with budget parameters; escalate headcount needs to operations leadership with supporting data Conduct or oversee daily labor productivity reviews; track and report results against targets Team Leadership and Accountability Directly manage warehouse leads, supervisors, and associate-level staff; own team performance outcomes Conduct structured performance reviews tied to role-specific KPIs and behavioral standards Issue corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary documentation in partnership with HR Drive root cause analysis on errors, misses, and incidents; implement corrective process changes with documented follow-through Run daily shift briefings covering KPI results, priorities, and safety topics Safety and Compliance Enforce OSHA compliance, safety SOPs, and PPE requirements across all shifts and functions Conduct regular safety walkthroughs, document findings, and close corrective actions within required timeframes Manage equipment inspection logs, preventive maintenance scheduling, and operator certification records Report workplace incidents immediately and ensure proper documentation per EOS protocol Reporting and Process Control Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports to operations leadership with variance explanations and corrective actions Maintain accurate WMS records, inventory logs, and audit documentation Identify operational gaps and propose process improvements with measurable impact projections Support client-facing reporting requirements, SLA compliance reviews, and operational auditsKPI OWNERSHIP
The Warehouse Manager is directly accountable for the following performance metrics: KPI Metric Performance Standard Productivity Units per labor hour — tracked daily, reported weekly Labor Cost vs. Volume Overtime and headcount aligned to volume targets; variances documented Inventory Accuracy Cycle count accuracy and shrink rate within defined thresholds Order Accuracy Pick/pack and shipping error rate at or below target threshold Dock-to-Stock Cycle Time Receiving processed and putaway completed within KPI window On-Time Shipping Outbound shipments departing on schedule per carrier cutoff WMS Scan Compliance 100% scan-through compliance enforced across all functions Safety Recordables Zero preventable incidents; corrective actions closed on scheduleQUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of warehouse operations experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role 3PL or high-volume fulfillment environment experience required Proven track record of managing operations against measurable KPIs — productivity, accuracy, cost, and throughput WMS experience required; Flying Fish or comparable system strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to manage labor costs, schedules, and headcount against volume-based targets Experience issuing corrective actions, conducting performance reviews, and driving root cause analysis OSHA knowledge and enforcement experience in a warehouse or distribution environment Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or equivalent reporting tools Clear, professional written and verbal communication — must be able to document, report, and escalate effectivelyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual English/Spanish Experience with freight coordination including LTL, FedEx, UPS, and carrier management Forklift, reach truck, or order picker certification or operational oversight experience Multi-shift or multi-client 3PL environment experience Familiarity with inventory reconciliation, returns processing, or client SLA managementPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to stand, walk, and be active on the warehouse floor for extended periods Ability to operate in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels Must be able to perform floor-level work and assist with operational tasks as neededSCHEDULE
