In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily distribution activities, manage inventory control, and ensure seamless logistics processes. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize warehouse management systems, and foster a safety-first environment aligned with OSHA standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate a high-performing team, streamline materials handling, and enhance overall warehouse efficiency in a fast-paced, e-commerce-driven setting. Responsibilities Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including team management and training to ensure productivity and safety compliance. Oversee inventory management and control processes, ensuring accuracy in stock levels and proper storage procedures. Manage warehouse distribution activities, including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials handling. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory movements and optimize logistics workflows. Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce errors, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment through regular safety audits and training. Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for seamless transportation and delivery operations. Operate or supervise the operation of forklifts and other mechanical equipment for heavy lifting tasks. Monitor shipping schedules, manage documentation for inbound/outbound shipments, and resolve any logistical issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and warehouse activities to support audit readiness and reporting. Experience Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within a distribution or logistics environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques, materials handling, and warehouse distribution processes. Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or similar ERP platforms. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a safety-conscious culture aligned with OSHA standards. Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation, heavy lifting equipment, and general warehouse machinery is highly desirable. Experience working within e-commerce fulfillment centers or 3PL providers is a plus. Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, logistics coordination, and process improvement methodologies.
