Yard Manager

Yard Manager (Full-Time, Salaried) We are seeking a motivated and experienced Yard Manager to oversee daily operations at our scrap metal recycling facility. This full-time, salaried position is responsible for managing personnel, coordinating yard activities, and ensuring safe, efficient operations. Compensation is competitive and offers potential for higher pay based on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead yard personnel, including equipment operators and laborers Oversee all daily yard operations, including material flow, processing, and shipment Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations Monitor productivity and implement improvements to maximize efficiency Coordinate equipment usage, maintenance, and workflow scheduling Maintain organization and cleanliness of the yard and facility

Qualifications:

Strong leadership and communication skills Previous supervisory or management experience required Experience in scrap metal, recycling, or industrial operations preferred Basic computer skills for reporting and communication Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
