Orlando, FL Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Warehouse management experience Managing teams as a warehouse supervisor Full Job Description Position Summary Meats By Linz is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and oversee all warehouse operations at our Orlando distribution facility. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping of premium protein products. This position will lead warehouse personnel, drive operational excellence, maintain food safety standards, and support company growth through continuous process improvement. Responsibilities are consistent with warehouse leadership roles commonly found in food distribution and protein operations. Essential Responsibilities Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control. Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and associates to achieve operational goals. Monitor productivity, labor utilization, and workflow efficiency to meet customer service expectations. Ensure compliance with USDA, SQF, OSHA, HACCP, food safety, and company policies. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation processes. Partner with Transportation, Production, Quality Assurance, and Sales teams to support customer demand and service levels. Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs. Manage staffing levels, scheduling, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and employee development. Analyze warehouse KPIs including productivity, order accuracy, inventory variance, fill rates, and on-time shipments. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and refrigeration systems. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or related field preferred. 5+ years of warehouse leadership experience in food distribution, meat processing, manufacturing, or cold-storage operations. 3+ years of supervisory or management experience. Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management systems (WMS), and shipping/receiving operations. Experience managing temperature-controlled environments preferred. Working knowledge of OSHA, HACCP, USDA, and food safety regulations. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs. Physical Requirements Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and extended hours when business demands require.
