In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods while overseeing daily operations within the delivery process. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize transportation management systems, and uphold high standards of safety and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to blend hands-on driving with supervisory responsibilities, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain operations. Duties Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers, ensuring adherence to all transportation regulations and safety protocols Supervise and coordinate delivery schedules, dispatching drivers efficiently using transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP systems Monitor inventory levels and manage warehouse distribution activities, including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory control Lead process improvement initiatives by analyzing logistics workflows, implementing lean principles, and driving continuous improvement strategies Oversee freight operations including procurement, freight forwarding (NVOCC), 3PL partnerships, and fleet management to optimize costs and service quality Manage warehouse activities such as warehouse supervision, warehouse management system (WMS) utilization, forklift operation, and materials management Ensure compliance with supply chain policies, demand planning, production planning, and budget management to meet operational goals Experience Proven supervising experience in warehouse or logistics environments with a strong understanding of transportation planning and supply chain management Hands-on experience with transportation management systems (TMS), ERP systems like AS400, and warehouse management systems (WMS) Knowledge of freight shipping & receiving procedures, inventory management, procurement, and warehouse distribution processes Familiarity with demand planning, production planning, continuous improvement methodologies (Lean), and process optimization techniques Demonstrated ability to manage budgets related to logistics operations and analyze supply chain analytics for decision-making Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Delivery Driver/Supervisor where your leadership fuels operational excellence!
