- Friday 3:00PM to 12:00AM Position Description The Distribution Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
This role is responsible for delivering and executing daily and short-term plans to achieve operational and business objectives. Responsibilities Manage multiple Supervisors in a distribution/warehouse environment Plan, monitor, and execute staffing schedules and adjust as needed to ensure proper staffing levels that support operational demands and business objectives Manage inbound and outbound loading and unloading of trucks while maintaining warehouse organization and inventory accuracy Maintain productivity, customer service, and safety standards daily Provide superior customer service and maintain professional and courteous relations with strategic partners Train, coach, mentor, and develop staff to achieve business objectives while providing career developing opportunities; conduct performance reviews Manage revenue and expenses compared to budget; manage and track key performance indicators (KPIs) Communicate to operations staff in objectives, policies, procedures, safety methods, practices, programs, etc. Qualifications Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree preferred High school Diploma/GED required Must possess 10 years of experience within the 3PL industry, in which five (5) years are in a leadership role of a warehouse or distribution center Must have at least two (2) years of experience managing a P&L Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to drive results and develop a team while creating strong relationships with clients and internal associates Excellent communication and presentations skills; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, associates, and the public Strong analytical skills, including analysis and interpretation of complex business documents as well as statistics and modeling #LI-EP1 .
