Warehouse General Manager

Company Confidential is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee a warehouse in Covington, Georgia. Candidate must have exceptional organizational, logistical, and processing skills, as well as proven leadership abilities to respectfully and professionally lead a team of warehouse employees. This role will require strong communication and leadership as well as a hands-on individual to maintain the strict accuracy of shipments, receiving inventory, and maintain all company protocols and expectations. Salary can exceed posted range DOE with proven logistical and leadership skillset experience. The ideal candidate must have minimum proven skillsets, abilities and qualifications in the following areas: Must be highly familiar with daily warehouse operations, logistics, shipping practices, inventory control, and distribution. Must be a hands on leader showing by example, being actively involved with all warehouse activity, and not an office hermit. Have the abilities to follow process and procedures, as well as the ability and skill set to make SOP modifications as necessary to maintain accuracy and timely shipments. Basic knowledge of Georgia employment laws to maintain staff proficiency, carry out disciplinary processes, PIP's, evaluations, and safety. Experienced with maintaining budgets, operating costs, and is resourceful with the abilities to 'think outside of the box.' This position also requires the candidate to travel to California for up to two weeks in duration for continued training, work with company leadership, and provide warehouse and manufacturing updates and reports. Minimum 3 years proven successful hands on leadership experience in a warehouse and manufacturing environment with similar responsibilities, skill sets, and expectations. Candidate must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal to effectively lead staff and work with company executive leadership. Ideal candidate must have a minimum Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or in a related field of responsibility. Individual must have the skill set, problem solving and communication abilities to be able to multitask efficiently, delegate responsibilities, and solve complex problems and situations in a timely manner.
