About Talon Screens Talon Screens is a growing manufacturer of high-quality screen products serving a dealer network across the Southeast and Midwest. We are building a best-in-class logistics operation and are looking for a driven, detail-oriented professional to own the delivery process from warehouse to dealer doorstep. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape how our products reach our customers and to grow with a company that values accountability, professionalism, and doing things right. The Role As our Driver & Logistics Coordinator, you will be the backbone of Talon Screens' delivery operations. You will coordinate with our warehouse team to stage and load orders, plan efficient multi-stop routes across multiple states, deliver product safely and accurately to our dealer partners, and build the logistics systems and procedures that will support our growth. This is not a sit-and-steer position — you will own the full logistics process, from scheduling and load planning to DOT compliance and fleet maintenance. You will report directly to the Production Manager and work independently on the road. What You Will Do Safely operate a company truck and 30-foot gooseneck/fifth-wheel trailer to deliver products to dealers across a multi-state territory (FL, GA, SC, NC, AL, TN, KY, IN and expanding). Coordinate delivery schedules with the warehouse team and dealer network to maximize route efficiency. Load, secure, and verify all product before departure; unload and reconcile deliveries at each stop. Build and maintain Talon Screens' DOT compliance program from the ground up, including USDOT registration, driver qualification files, Hours of Service documentation, and drug and alcohol testing procedures. Manage fleet maintenance, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and all vehicle documentation. Develop Standard Operating Procedures for all logistics and delivery functions. Represent Talon Screens professionally at every dealer interaction. Manage travel expenses responsibly using a company-issued credit card with full receipt documentation. What We Require Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR review and background check required). Minimum 2 years of experience operating a 25-foot or larger gooseneck or fifth-wheel trailer. Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and perform physical loading/unloading. Willingness to travel overnight regularly, including multi-day trips. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Professional communication skills — you are the face of Talon Screens on the road. Proficiency with a smartphone and basic computer applications. What Sets You Apart Class A CDL (not required, but a plus). Experience delivering to dealer networks or wholesale customers. Familiarity with DOT regulations, USDOT registration, or compliance program development. Experience with bills of lading, freight documentation, or load planning.
