Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and organized Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced electrical wholesale distribution warehouse. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing inventory, supervising warehouse staff, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, maintaining safety standards, and driving operational efficiency to support exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in warehouse operations, and a commitment to accuracy, productivity, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Manage all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and returns. Ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. Monitor workflow and staffing levels to meet productivity goals. Coordinate inbound and outbound freight with suppliers and carriers. Maintain clean, organized, and efficient warehouse facilities. Inventory Management Oversee inventory control processes and ensure inventory accuracy. Conduct cycle counts and annual physical inventories. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain appropriate inventory. Ensure proper storage and handling of electrical products and materials. Team Leadership Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse personnel. Foster a positive, safety-focused, and customer-oriented work environment. Set performance expectations and provide coaching and development opportunities. Lead team meetings and communicate company goals and operational updates. Safety & Compliance Enforce all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of forklifts and warehouse equipment. Investigate accidents or incidents and implement corrective actions. Maintain compliance with company procedures and industry standards. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce costs. Implement best practices for inventory control and order fulfillment. Monitor performance and develop action plans for improvement. Support technology and process enhancements within warehouse operations. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Experience in distribution, wholesale, or electrical supply environments preferred. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management software. Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (or obtain certification). Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred 3-5+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience. Knowledge of electrical products, materials, and industry terminology. Forklift certification. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
