A major focus on inventory management and related inventory control processes. This role oversees inventory integrity from inbound receiving, through storage, movement, fulfillment, and final disposition of assets. The Inventory Warehouse Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate system data, establishing inventory standards, improving inventory visibility, and leading inventory-related operational processes and personnel. This position works closely with Order Fulfilment Marketing, and Sales teams, as well as external partners including Rightsize Facility decommissioning specialists, MAC Relocations operations teams, and labor service vendors. Position reports to the Director of Operations or designee. Key Role Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to the following:
  • Lead and manage OFC's inventory control program to ensure inventory accuracy, accountability, and organization across all warehouse locations and departments.
  • Oversee and execute cycle count programs, inventory audits, and reconciliation processes to ensure quantities shown in OFC's ERP/WMS systems (NetSuite) remain accurate and current.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly. Oversee inbound receiving of major product liquidations and purchases. Includes scheduling labor to support receipt and put-away of product; off-loading of trucks, recording inventory quantities; preparing product for storage and/or display; moving product to storage and/or display spaces; distributing inventory information to applicable personnel; updating documentation. Monitor inventory aging, slow-moving inventory, surplus assets, and obsolete product. Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to develop strategies for liquidation, reuse, refurbishment, recycling, or disposal. Maintain warehouse organization and security. Ensure facility is free of safety hazards, workspaces are clear and clean, product is stored in a safe and effective manner. Work with building facility manager to address any building-related issues that affect the operation, safety, and security of the designated warehouse areas. Oversee maintenance and upkeep of material handling and moving equipment. Includes daily maintenance of forklifts and pallet jacks; maintain maintenance logs; implement scheduled maintenance program to ensure safety and operational integrity of equipment; maintain log of all dollies and panel carts. Provide oversight of general warehouse maintenance and cleanliness. Ensure routine cleaning schedules are implemented and followed, including sweeping, trash removal, restroom cleanliness, and general tidiness of work areas. Coordinate with janitorial services and/or internal staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and functionality are maintained throughout the warehouse. Participate in budgeting exercises and maintain adherence to operating budgets for labor, consumable and reusable materials (such as pallets), cleaning supplies and services, and maintenance of material handling equipment (MHE). Knowledge and Skill Requirements
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) - ability to read and write in both languages
  • Highly experienced (5+ years) with inventory and warehouse processes, methods and controls
  • Strong understanding of inventory processes, cycle counting methodologies, SKU management, and inventory auditing practices
  • Demonstrated leadership of managing operation and inventory personnel
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with uncertainties of material in-flows
  • Ability to develop operational plans and contingencies
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) - from labor teams to senior management
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems like Netsuite, SalesForce, WMS Compensation and Benefits Base salary plus earnable annual bonus based on performance.
