Job Description
Job Overview Budd Mechanical Systems is a 105-year-old family run business. Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, ensuring smooth warehouse distribution processes, & standard building/grounds maintenance. Your proactive approach will help us maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems while contributing to the seamless flow of goods from our facility to customers. Duties Perform inventory management tasks including stock counting, inventory control, etc Assist with shipping and receiving activities by accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment Conduct materials handling activities such as stocking shelves, order fulfillment with vendors, and order picking for jobs Assist in shipping & receiving operations by loading/unloading trucks, verifying inbound/outbound shipments, and completing necessary documentation Maintain a clean and organized warehouse/shop environment (yard work, stock returned materials/parts, typical grounds maintenance, etc.) Tool maintenance & miscellaneous office errands as required Operate forklift•Highly desired Qualifications Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in inventory management, stocking, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic tool issues and perform routine maintenance Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physically fit for long periods of standing, walking, bending or lifting heavy items as required Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and order fulfillment processes Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment Prior experience supporting manufacturing or construction projects is a plus Valid driver's license Ability to multi-task & prioritize
