Distribution Construction Manager Job Description We are seeking a skilled Distribution Construction Manager to oversee a Resiliency Program in the Greater New Orleans area. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving subcontractor performance and leading crews to build distribution systems throughout New Orleans and Jefferson Parish. This role demands overall production oversight, quality assurance, and leading a team of up to 25 people. Responsibilities Drive subcontractor performance and oversee construction activities. Lead subcontractor and internal crews to build distribution systems. Ensure overall production and quality of work. Lead a team of up to 25 individuals. Oversee projects during construction and commissioning phases. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, reporting, contract, standards, change management, risk management, and schedule requirements. Maintain proper communication with the project team and stakeholders. Standardize reporting and conduct construction meetings. Essential Skills Distribution Construction Management experience. Experience in electrical distribution and power delivery. Familiarity with construction documents and QA/QC processes. Substation construction experience. Construction management skills. Proficiency in computer and reporting skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Entergy projects is a plus. Project management and safety knowledge. Experience in transmission and electrical project management. Work Environment This project involves fieldwork, coordinating subcontractor crews, and generally requires over 50 hours per week. The role offers a standard per diem based on the work area, with a base work week of 50 hours, typically structured as 5 days of 10-hour workdays. Holidays and PTO are offered, and future project work is a viable option for high performers. The company has a growing footprint within utilities, offering potential for long-term opportunities. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Covington, LA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
