Job Description:
J&M Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse activities, directly lead efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity. An outstanding warehouse supervisor should be dependable and have excellent organizational and time management skills.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Supervise warehouse employees Coordinate logistical processes Ensure the quality and accuracy of all shipments received and shipped Prepare any relevant documentation Prepare box truck delivery routes Effectively communicate within the team environment Manage D.O.T. compliance for vehicles and drivers
Warehouse Manager Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving history Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position. Previous experience operating a fork lift preferred. Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management. Strong understanding of LTL, Hot shot, Partial Truckload and Dedicated freight. Time management skills and the ability to delegate. Excellent leadership and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data entry software, and general computer knowledge. Problem-solving ability.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended period of time (2-4 hours) Ability to sit in an office environment for extended period of time (2-4 hours) Ability to pick up and safely move 50 lbs.
