Mail & Delivery Services Manager (Business Operations Supervisor 2) Oregon Department of Administrative Services Salem, Oregon The Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is the backbone of Oregon state government. We make sure agencies have the resources they need'financial, human, and technological'to serve communities across the state. We're looking for a motivated, solutions& #8209;driven leader to supervise our Mail & Delivery Unit. This team handles federal mail, secure document delivery, shipping/receiving, route coordination, and customer support for dozens of state agencies throughout the Willamette Valley. If you enjoy leading people, improving operations, and serving a broad customer base, this is a role where you can truly make an impact. What You'll Do As the Mail & Delivery Unit Supervisor, you'll: Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate your team while fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment. Plan, assign, and adjust daily workflows to ensure timely and accurate service delivery. Build strong working relationships with customer agencies and respond to service needs with professionalism and clarity. Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and audit requirements for handling confidential and secure materials. Oversee route coordination, equipment upkeep, vehicle management, and operational performance metrics. Manage quality control, billing, and program reporting processes. Coordinate budgeting, procurement, and inventory management.Job Classification:
