Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse management, ensuring efficient inventory control, seamless logistics, and safe materials handling. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize warehouse distribution, and foster a motivated team dedicated to excellence. Duties Manage daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment to ensure smooth operations. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff and supervisors, providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback to maximize productivity. Oversee inventory control processes using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as AS400, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper documentation. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and accuracy across all warehouse functions. Coordinate logistics with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and internal departments to optimize distribution channels. Conduct regular safety audits in compliance with OSHA standards; promote a culture of safety awareness among staff. Supervise shipping & receiving activities, including heavy lifting, materials handling, and forklift operations with proper certification. Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipments, and warehouse activities; utilize Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues when needed. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse management with a strong background in inventory management and distribution. Previous experience preparing and shipping packages to international locations. Proven leadership skills in team management and supervision within a warehouse or logistics environment. Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), especially AS400 or similar platforms. Deep understanding of logistics processes including shipping & receiving, materials handling, and e-commerce fulfillment. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and mechanical equipment operation. Ability to implement process improvements that streamline workflows and reduce costs. Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting warehouse equipment such as forklifts; forklift certification preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and documentation accuracy. Familiarity with 3PL operations and managing complex supply chain logistics.
