Job Description

The Distribution Center Manager is responsible for overall leadership, performance, and continuous improvement of the Dayton Distribution Center. This role owns safety, service, cost, people development, and operational excellence across all distribution activities, ensuring on‑time, accurate delivery to customers while building a strong, engaged, high‑performing team.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE
Lead overall Distribution Center operations to ensure safe, accurate, and on‑time order fulfillment. Manage and develop leadership and teams, driving accountability, engagement, and performance. Own safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people metrics; use data to drive daily and strategic decisions. Partner cross‑functionally with Transportation, Manufacturing, Planning, and Customer Service to meet business and customer needs. Manage facilities, labor planning, and operations while identifying cost and productivity improvement opportunities.
YOU HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field is required. 5+ years of progressive experience in distribution, warehouse, or materials operations preferred 1+ years of experience leading supervisors is highly desirable. Experience leading a high‑volume or complex distribution center. Demonstrated experience driving Lean or continuous improvement initiatives. Proven ability to lead large, diverse hourly workforces. Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills. Experience with WMS, ERP, or transportation systems Ability to move throughout the distribution center as needed to lead teams and operations. Ability to work extended hours or flexible schedules during peak periods as required.

Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
$105,000.00 - $195,000.00 Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
