Southern Minnesota Woodcraft, specializing in commercial and residential casework, solid surface & stone tops, custom desks, fixtures and millwork for educational, medical, hospitality & corporate environments. We have an opening for a capable multifaceted Warehouse Manager to join our team! We are seeking a proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative team environment. We offer competitive wages and benefits based upon experience. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations. In this vital role, you will oversee the shipping and receiving department.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Using Drawings from Engineers and communication with Project Managers and Purchasing Manager, match the correct materials for each job. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure everything is prepared, loaded with instructions for the Installers. Gather the correct materials for each job. Load and unload supplies and equipment on delivery trucks. Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines. Excellent communication skills to provide accurate information and instructions, in addition to active listener. Drive improvements, maintain safety standards, and support our commitment to delivering exceptional products efficiently. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are required. These skills ensure safe, efficient shop operations while maintaining high standards for project quality and team productivity. Critical thinking skills involving resilience, rapid problem solving and clear communication with unexpected shift in workflow or delivery schedules. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Conform to all federal, state and local laws and regulations, including traffic laws. Comply with OSHA regulations and safety protocols. Other duties as assigned, including the shop. Ability to learn new tasks.
Requirements:
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing workflow every day. Attention to detail and accuracy. Work effectively independently and as part of a team. Maintain positive attitude, integrity and ethical conduct. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Pay based on experience.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to load, unload, push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the shift. Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in various positions. Walking Stand for long periods of time Inside/Outside conditions Potentially operate machinery
Technology:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Bluebeam experience
License:
