Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated Warehouse manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, order picking, heavy lifting, and operating heavy equipment. leading into supervisor / manager with on the job trainingDuties:
- Perform shipping and receiving duties
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts for material handling
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Engage in order picking and packing tasks
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and products
- Operate cranes for moving heavy items
- Assist in fabricating materials as needed
- Manage warehouse inventory efficiently
- Operate various types of heavy equipment within the warehouse
- eventually leading to manager position
Experience:
- Prior 2 years experience in warehouse operations is preferred
- Proficiency in using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other heavy equipment
- Ability to perform order picking accurately and efficiently
- Strong physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and prolonged standing
