St. Louis, MO Job Details Part-time From $21 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Chauffeur's Permit Teamwork Interpersonal skills Equipment repair Supplier management High school diploma or GED Schedule management Class E Time management Full Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and disciplined Delivery Driver/Warehouse Manager to oversee our daily logistics and inventory operations. You will be responsible for equipment & material delivery/pick-up at jobsites and ensuring that our warehouse operates at peak efficiency; managing everything from receiving and inventory control to shipping and safety compliance. Also maintaining all equipment inside of warehouse. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver and able to apply critical thinking to overcome any situation that arises in an efficient and practical manner.
Key Responsibilities Operational Oversight:
Manage day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, organization, distribution, as well as maintenance operations, delivering supplies & equipment.
Inventory Management:
Oversee cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure system data matches physical stock, manage inventory, and maintain/order supplies for proper inventory upkeep.
Safety & Compliance:
Enforce Jos. Ward Painting Co's safety protocols as well as state and federal regulations (OSHA) and ensure all equipment and materials are properly organized and stored in compliance with all safety regulations.
Equipment Maintenance:
Equipment repair (spray pumps, safety equipment/PPE, flooring equipment, etc.) as required and regular maintenance cycles, as well as logging records of all equipment maintenance.
Process Optimization:
Identify bottlenecks in efficiency and implement strategies to improve throughput and reduce costs.
Vendor Coordination:
Communicate & coordinate with vendors, transport companies, and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
Required Qualifications Experience:
Painting, Driving Class E drivers License required (chauffeurs license)
Technical Skills:
Hands on, time management, scheduling, equipment maintenance/repair, critical thinking, organizational skills.
Leadership:
Ability to use critical thinking and practical experience to overcome any scenario. Ability to communicate with crews, vendors, and clients with respect to build lasting relationships.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs if necessary. Ability to drive for 2+ hours if required.
Education & Certifications:
