Job Description

Description:
Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse and inventory operations Supervise, train, and support warehouse staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages or overstock Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies Ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods Maintain proper documentation of inventory movements using warehouse management systems (WMS) Enforce safety procedures and compliance with company policies and regulations Optimize warehouse layout and processes for improved productivity and space utilization Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and sales teams to meet operational demands Assist with scheduling, shift planning, and performance tracking of team members Investigate and resolve inventory or operational issues in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security of the warehouse facility Support implementation of process improvements and cost-saving initiatives Assist in LTL, small pack, and container loads
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred 3+ years of warehouse or inventory experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role Strong understanding of inventory control practices and warehouse operations Experience with inventory management or warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations (preferred) Ability to lift and move materials (e.g., up to 40-50 lbs, depending on role) Flexibility to work shifts or overtime as needed Optional Forklift certification Experience with barcode scanning systems or RFID tracking Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement experience
