Agricultural Warehouse Manager

A&T Farms Inc. is hiring a Seasonal Warehouse Manager to lead our produce warehouse operations in Valley, Nebraska. This position is responsible for managing the daily flow of product through our warehouse, including receiving, storage, packing, order picking, loading, inventory accuracy, staff supervision, food safety compliance, and coordination with sales and logistics. This is a hands-on leadership role. We are looking for someone who can keep the warehouse organized, lead a crew effectively, maintain high standards, and make sure customer orders are completed accurately and on time. Position Type Seasonal Position This position is expected to run through approximately November 1 , depending on crop season, weather, and business needs. Responsibilities The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for: Leading daily warehouse operations, including receiving, staging, packing, picking, loading, and shipping produce orders Supervising warehouse employees and seasonal crews Making sure customer orders are picked accurately and loaded correctly Coordinating with the sales team, logistics team, and farm management on daily order priorities Maintaining accurate inventory counts and lot traceability records Ensuring proper product rotation, quality control, and organization in coolers and storage areas Overseeing the use of pick sheets, labels, scanners, and warehouse systems Making sure food safety, sanitation, and worker safety procedures are followed Helping prepare for audits, inspections, and customer requirements Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, efficient, and ready for daily operations Training employees on proper handling, loading, equipment use, and company procedures Identifying problems quickly and helping solve them before they affect customers Qualifications Strong candidates will have: Previous warehouse, produce, agriculture, logistics, or food distribution experience Experience supervising employees or seasonal crews Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing daily priorities Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to use basic computer systems, tablets, scanners, or inventory software Ability to communicate clearly with management, sales, drivers, and warehouse workers Forklift or pallet jack experience preferred Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred Food safety or produce handling experience is a plus Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Stand, walk, bend, lift, and work on your feet for extended periods Lift up to 50 lbs as needed Work in coolers, warehouse areas, loading areas, and outdoor conditions Safely operate or work around forklifts, pallet jacks, trucks, and warehouse equipment Schedule This is a seasonal position expected to run through approximately November 1 , depending on crop season, weather, and business needs. Hours will vary seasonally and may include early mornings, longer days during peak harvest season, and weekends.
