Warehouse Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee operations at our Newark, New Jersey facility. This role involves managing a growing team and ensuring efficient inventory management across a large warehouse space. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a hands-on approach to maintaining smooth workflows.

Responsibilities:

+ Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. + Manage logistics and transportation management to ensure timely delivery of products. + Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. + Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high performance. + Coordinate production planning and procurement activities to meet customer demands. + Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipments in compliance with company policies. + Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations within the warehouse environment. + Collaborate with other departments to optimize supply chain management processes. Requirements + Proven experience in warehouse management or a related field, preferably in a 3PL environment. + Strong understanding of logistics, shipping, receiving, and supply chain management principles. + Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. + Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. + Knowledge of process improvement methodologies is a plus. + Proficient in using warehouse management systems and software tools.
