The position's primary responsibilities are to manage the assigned personnel including hiring, training, terminations, performance reviews, salary reviews and corrective actions. Achieve and maintain profitability, productivity, safety, and quality standards for department. The Manager will work in conjunction with Regulatory Compliance Specialist to ensure regulatory compliance activities including projects and training.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
: Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Provide leadership and direction to a team of supervisors/leads as they oversee daily warehouse functions. Responsible for accurate inventory and productivity levels Manages documentation and flow of goods through warehouse. Ensure that operational resources, including equipment and human talent, are properly allocated in relation to daily operational needs. Effectively represent the organization to a diverse workforce and nurture a culture of safety and responsibility amongst all employees. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols Works in conjunction with Regulatory Compliance Specialist to establish and maintain cGMP for activities Participate in both client and regulatory bodies audits, inclusive of providing support for any investigations. Must have knowledge of cGMP and FDA requirements and stay current on regulatory policies, as applicable per building. Coordinate the efforts of personnel to ensure that client SLA's are effectively satisfied. Oversee all administrative processes within the distribution center to include generation of shift, labor, and operational reports. Conduct annual reviews for all direct reports. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies Study workflow to assure greatest efficiency and high level of quality and make recommendations for improvement as appropriate. Provide weekly, or as needed, metrics of activity: internal (employee standards and client specific SLA's. Resolve employee relations issues or submit unresolved issues to Human Resources. Ensure preparation and implementation of individual client programs and takes appropriate action for client satisfaction. Provide solutions to client issues through communications with internal and external clients. Oversee accurate and timely preparation of timecards and assure all billing is captured. Ensures a strong commitment to quality and adheres to allISO 9001
related standards Comply with all privacy policies and report infractions immediately to management. Attend Team, Account, and Production meeting as required. Other duties as assigned or directed by management.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Demonstrated ability to lead and coach in continuous improvement efforts Financial acumen Must have a sense of urgency and be a visible leader Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team Ability to multi-task while working under pressure to meet tight deadlines Extensive supply chain process expertise including some manufacturing, inbound receiving, storage, retrieval (full pallets, case pick, layer pick), shipping, transportation, etc.System knowledge:
Knowledge of WMS, WTS, VTS, VRS, or other Shipping (including import/export requirements) and Receiving systems Proven success in evaluating processes, workflow, equipment, and recommending and implementing change. Background in or understanding of fulfillment or marketing services. Effective conflict resolution skills Experience in Microsoft Office environment. Demonstrate working proficiency of the English Language.OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
College degree or equivalent work experience: High School Diploma/ GED Required. Technical School/College degree preferred.Physical Demands:
Moderate lifting to 40 lbs.EXPERIENCE
Learning Curve:
1 - 3 months on basic functions/ 3 - 6 months full spectrum of responsibilities.Prior Experience:
