Delivery Coordinator Baked Chicken Farm Albuquerque, NM Job Details Full-time From $17 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Paid training Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Customer service High school diploma or GED Driver's License Attention to detail Performing background checks Delivery driver experience Full Job Description Job Summary The Cannabis Carrier / Delivery Coordinator is responsible for the secure, compliant, and timely transport of cannabis products, related materials, and authorized business records between approved company locations and authorized delivery destinations, as assigned. This position is responsible for maintaining the chain of custody, completing required transport and delivery documentation, following all company security and safety procedures, and helping ensure all assigned deliveries and transfers are conducted in accordance with company policy and applicable regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
  • Transport cannabis products, related materials, and authorized business records between approved company locations and authorized delivery destinations in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain chain of custody and accountability for all products and authorized items in transit.
  • Review assigned routes, manifests, delivery schedules, and transport documentation before departure.
  • Ensure all required delivery, transfer, and transport records are accurate, complete, and properly maintained.
  • Verify product counts, package information, transfer details, and related documentation before and after transport.
  • Obtain required delivery confirmations, signatures, acknowledgments, or other authorized receiving documentation, as applicable.
  • Return completed manifests, delivery paperwork, and supporting records to the appropriate department promptly and in accordance with procedure.
  • Follow all company safety, security, transportation, and compliance procedures at all times.
  • Ensure cannabis products remain properly secured during transport and are handled in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Inspect company vehicles and assigned transport equipment before and after use and promptly report maintenance, safety, damage, or security concerns.
  • Maintain accurate mileage, route, delivery, and incident documentation as required.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, receiving locations, vendors, and internal departments regarding delivery timing, documentation issues, and operational needs.
  • Promptly report discrepancies, delivery issues, missing items, damage, route interruptions, security concerns, accidents, or other unusual incidents to management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of route information, customer information, delivery details, company records, and other sensitive business information.
  • Support inventory accountability through accurate handling, transfer, and documentation of products and materials.
  • Follow all Company policies regarding vehicle use, mobile communications, security, and workplace conduct.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the Company.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous delivery, transportation, logistics, route service, or regulated-industry experience preferred.
  • Previous experience handling sensitive, controlled, or high-accountability products preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage assigned routes and tasks with limited supervision.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain professionalism in customer-facing and field-based situations.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Must be insurable under the Company's vehicle insurance policy, if applicable.
  • Due to state regulations, qualified candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check; certain criminal convictions may disqualify candidates based on state cannabis licensing regulations.
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
