Our warehousing organization is vital for us to deliver packaging solutions to our customers. We are now looking for a warehouse manager to join our team in Nefab Reno, Nevada. As Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a customer-site warehouse and logistics operation. This role provides leadership for warehouse personnel, including temporary and contract employees, while ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of all warehouse activities. The Warehouse Manager serves as the primary operational contact for the customer and is accountable for operational performance, labor management, inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Leadership Lead daily warehouse operations at a customer site, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate execution of all inbound and outbound activities. Oversee the complete returnable packaging lifecycle, including receiving, unloading, pre-sort, sorting, put-away, inventory management, shipping, loading, and related system transactions. Manage warehouse workflows to meet customer service requirements, productivity targets, and operational KPIs. Ensure timely execution of receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and material handling activities. Team Leadership & Workforce Management Supervise and coordinate a team of warehouse associates, including temporary and contract employees. Manage staffing levels, scheduling, labor allocation, and daily work assignments to support operational requirements. Provide coaching, training, performance management, and employee development to drive engagement and accountability. Foster a positive, safety-focused, and customer-oriented work environment. Partner with staffing agencies to support workforce planning, onboarding, and performance expectations for temporary labor. Customer & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact for customer operational matters. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication, issue resolution, operational reviews, and proactive service management. Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, customer representatives, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless material flow and service delivery. Escalate operational issues as needed and drive timely corrective actions. Financial & Performance Management Support site financial performance through labor management, productivity improvement, and cost control initiatives. Monitor labor utilization, overtime, operational expenses, and productivity metrics. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including: Productivity Labor efficiency Inventory accuracy Shipment accuracy On-time performance Trailer turn time Safety performance Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. Safety, Quality & Compliance Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. Maintain warehouse organization and housekeeping standards through 6S and continuous improvement practices. Conduct routine safety observations, audits, and corrective action follow-up. Promote a culture of safety and operational excellence throughout the facility. Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures, quality standards, and operational work instructions. Continuous Improvement Analyze operational processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements. Implement corrective and preventive actions to address operational challenges. Support standardized work practices and process optimization initiatives. Drive continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, service, and cost performance.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION
Associate's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
EXPERIENCE 3-5
years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain management experience required. Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing warehouse teams. Experience leading temporary or contract labor workforces preferred. Experience in customer-site operations, third-party logistics (3PL), manufacturing support, or returnable packaging operations preferred.
LANGUAGES
Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex legal and financial documents Ability to be able to communicate clearly and effectively to all employees, customer, and vendors Ability to be able to make effective persuasive presentations
SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
Strong leadership and team development skills. Excellent communication and customer relationship management abilities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and logistics operations. Ability to analyze operational metrics and implement improvement plans. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
