You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our 3PL warehouse operations. From inventory and facility management to leading high-performing team, while ensuring our clients receive the exceptional service they depend on us to deliver. This role will build and develop a high-performing warehouse team, and play a key role in shaping how SBGA scales its operations. This role reports to the president of SBGA.

Key Responsibilities Operations:
Oversee all day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and outbound shipping to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery. Develop, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse functions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time shipment rates and inventory accuracy, Ensure proper utilization of warehouse space, equipment, and resources to maximize operational efficiency. Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend scalable solutions to support business growth. Support the company's business development efforts by contributing operational insights for new client proposals and pricing. Evaluate client-requested process changes to ensure they enhance rather than hinder overall warehouse productivity and safety Other responsibilities as requested by managementLeadership & People Management:
Directly manage and mentor the Supervisor, and provide indirect leadership to the Fulfillment Associate and Material Handler. Conduct performance reviews, set individual goals, and support the professional development of all warehouse staff. Identify staffing needs and partner with leadership on recruiting, onboarding, and training as the business grows. Review accuracy of timesheets Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture.Compliance & Safety:
Ensure the warehouse operates in compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and any client-specific requirements. Lead safety training initiatives and conduct regular safety audits and inspections. Lead anti harassment training Oversee facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, and coordinate with vendors for repairs and services. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times. Client & Account Management (3PL Focus): Serve as the primary point of contact for 3PL clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring service-level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met. Communicate proactively with clients regarding order status, inventory levels, exceptions, and any operational issues. Participate in onboarding new clients, including coordinating system setup, space allocation, and workflow integration. Review and report on client-specific performance metrics and address any service concerns promptly. Collaborate with new clients to design and implement customized operational flows that meet their unique needs while ensuring alignment with internal best practices and scalability standards Skills & Experience 4 - 6 years of progressive warehouse or distribution experience, with at least 3 years in a management role overseeing supervisors and frontline staff Previous experience in a third party logistics or warehouse environment is preferred Experience directly managing supervisors and indirectly leading frontline warehouse staff Experience reviewing and approving timesheets, with an understanding of basic labour compliance requirements. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience leading safety training Proven ability to manage SLAs, communicate proactively and resolve client concerns Comfortable managing competing priorities across operations and compliance High proficiency of technology, including warehouse management systems and GSuite High proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), specifically in configuring new client workflows and data integration Strong analytical skills with experience tracking and reporting on operational KPIs A team-first attitude with the flexibility to take on a variety of tasks as needed Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must be 18 years of age or older 4 - 6 years of progressive warehouse or distribution experience, with at least 3 years in a management role overseeing supervisors and frontline staff Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred, equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and hold a team accountable Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Must be punctual, dependable, and hold their team to the same standard Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 lbs as needed Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach as needed Location & Working Hours This is a full-time, in person role. Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Additional hours as needed Salary Range Salary range is $75k - $90k annual USD, depending on experience.
