Job Summary About Us Community Broadband Networks (CBN) is a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) dedicated to expanding affordable, high-speed internet in underserved communities. As we grow our fiber and fixed wireless infrastructure, we are seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager for our warehouse in Geneva NY to oversee sourcing, vendor management, and material readiness for our broadband projects. Responsibilities Help source materials, equipment, and subcontractor services needed for broadband construction and operations Join in overseeing operations, storage, logistics, and inspection of telecommunications materials Assist in managing warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment Track inventory levels, lead times, and material readiness to prevent project delays Maintain procurement logs, purchase orders, and vendor records for compliance and transparency Coordinate with project managers, construction supervisors, and finance teams to align procurement with schedules and budgets Ensure all procurement activities comply with grant funding, prevailing wage, and reporting requirements Oversee receipt, storage, and distribution of materials to field crews and subcontractors Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees Set up logical organization systems and create communication systems within the warehouse. Able to carry and lift 75lbs Qualifications 2+ years of experience in warehouse work/procurement, warehouse management, or supply chain (construction or telecom preferred) Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Familiarity with grant compliance and reporting preferred Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Excel Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
