Job Description

Location:
New York City (On-site / Hybrid - 4 days in office) Reporting to: Associate VP of Delivery Senior Delivery Manager / Delivery Director (Software Delivery & Application Development) We are looking for an experienced Senior Delivery Manager / Delivery Director to join our leadership team and drive end-to-end execution of complex software delivery initiatives. This role requires a strategic mindset combined with hands-on delivery leadership - the ability to define delivery standards at scale while ensuring teams execute successfully across timelines, quality, and stakeholder expectations. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, PMO, and Account Management teams to ensure consistent delivery performance and continuous improvement across the organization. Key Responsibilities Serve as a full member of the management team, contributing to delivery strategy and execution planning Lead planning, execution, and delivery of application development initiatives within an Agile environment Drive delivery excellence by implementing and improving delivery processes, standards, and governance frameworks Ensure delivery consistency through strong collaboration with Product, Account Management, and PMO teams Manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously, including dependencies, risks, scope, and resource constraints Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (Carriers, Vendors, Partners) Communicate delivery status, risks, decisions, and mitigation plans to executive leadership Establish and track delivery KPIs and metrics (timelines, velocity, predictability, quality, incident trends, etc.) Lead resolution of critical production incidents and drive post-incident improvements and mitigation planning Support organizational growth through delivery maturity improvements and scaling best practices Drive change management initiatives , helping teams adopt new processes, tools, and operating models Promote adoption of AI-powered delivery practices (delivery analytics, automation, AI-assisted planning/reporting) and support AI-related product initiatives where relevant Required Skills & Experience 7+ years of proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Delivery Director, Technical Project Manager, or similar role Strong technical background (Developer / BA / QA / Technical Lead experience preferred) Proven experience across the SDLC (application development, delivery, deployment, release management) Strong understanding of Agile delivery and modern software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) Experience managing complex cross-functional and distributed teams Experience working with multi-national teams across multiple time zones Excellent organizational skills and ability to structure processes and delivery governance Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to align diverse priorities Strong communication, escalation management, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deliver under pressure Demonstrated leadership in high-stakes delivery and incident environments Experience leading or supporting organizational change management initiatives Nice to Have Experience in B2B SaaS / Telecom / Enterprise platforms Experience with Jira / Advanced Roadmaps / delivery analytics tools Experience building and scaling delivery processes across growing organizations Experience implementing delivery dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting frameworks Exposure to AI/ML initiatives , AI governance, or AI-assisted delivery optimization Experience with transformation programs (process modernization, tooling adoption, Agile scaling) Soft Skills Strong leadership and decision-making capability Ability to offer solutions and innovative ideas Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills Ability to resolve conflicts and manage escalations effectively Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable Stress resistance and ability to lead in fast-paced environments Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field Relevant certifications are a plus Additional Requirements Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (now or in the future) Why Join Us Be part of a fast-growing delivery organization driving enterprise-scale product execution Work directly with senior leadership and influence delivery strategy Lead meaningful transformation initiatives including AI-enabled delivery and scalable delivery governance Opportunity to build processes, shape culture, and drive delivery excellence across teams
