The ideal candidate will help ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all of our processes. You will have a strong work ethic and ability to keep up with physical labor. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage their time across a variety of different tasks. Experience with antiques is not required, but we are looking for someone handy, who can pickup quickly with training. This position is intended to be a full time salary position working Monday through Thursday 8-4pm and part day on Fridays when necessary to keep up with any deadlines or shipments coming through.
Duties / Responsibilities
Manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Prepping furniture for shipment, including pulling sold items, cleaning and wrapping. Lifting and moving furniture, loading and unloading trucks. General warehouse duties, cleaning, organizing, trash, helping with new projects. Data management; uploading info into our systems, preparing paperwork for shippers. Requirements Prompt, professional and organized. Efficient typing and computer skills. Must be able to do physical labor, lifting and moving heavy and delicate items. Attention to detail, good communication skills, continuous self improvement strategies. Ability to listen, learn and be present. You will be required to learn and apply new skills
