Opportunity Summary :
The Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for the supervision of the warehouse associates and other requirements to ensure that customer orders are filled accurately and in a timely manner while following all QIP and safety standards. This position supervises All Production functions (picking, loading and receiving) managing the WIN system, safety, reporting, and inventory control. Number of direct reports (approximate)

- 48 How you will make contributions that matter : Directs the planning and assignment of all work for the most efficient use of personnel and material handling equipment, ensuring all staffing levels are adequate.
Ensures labor scheduling is completed daily and within budget. Manages the company safety program to include equipment safety, warehouse Associates safety meetings, injury and accident investigations and ensures all safety practices and policies are followed to promote a safe work environment. Directs the improvement to all operational processes and procedures. Communicates and enforces all policies, procedures and work rules are followed. Delivers employee disciplinary action, when necessary, and assists in procuring verification and documentation. Ensures completion of comprehensive training (SOP) for all newly hired personnel under his/her control. Along with all MHE training and certification and compliances. Ensures all daily, weekly and monthly reports are kept current including payroll, WIN (Warehouse Initiative Network), service reliability, on-time reporting and is distributed to Department Managers. Ensures all DQMP requirements are within compliance. Other duties may be assigned.
What You'll Bring:
Education
- High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience
- 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training in: Engineered Labor Management or Warehouse Management. Other Required Skills or Abilities
- Supervision in a fast-paced distribution environment, computer skills with WIN System (Warehouse Initiative Network), technical skills (including Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point), engineered labor standards and systems, voice selection technology (Lucas), JD Edwards, managerial/leadership skills, developing and executing budgets and cost controls, safety management, process management, inventory control, analyzing information, equipment and facility maintenance.
