JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking to hire a Delivery Lead / Release Manager to support multiple development teams within a fast-paced, enterprise environment. This individual will be responsible for managing the full delivery lifecycle from intake through production, ensuring releases are prioritized, coordinated, and successfully deployed on a weekly cadence. On a daily basis, this person will support three development teams, primarily within the ordering space, and will work closely with engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to manage priorities and release readiness. They will facilitate intake requests, assess and prioritize work for the development teams, and provide regular updates on release status and timelines. There are 3 other Delivery Managers currently on this team. This role requires strong coordination with Release Managers and CAB processes, ensuring all documentation, approvals, and deployment requirements are in place to avoid production issues. The Delivery Lead will also collaborate with Test Leads to confirm validation efforts and ensure quality prior to release. Additionally, this individual will support high-priority initiatives, including upcoming merger-related work, large volumes of defect remediation, and enterprise environment modernization efforts (including aligning environments to current standards and managing impacts to ordering systems). They will need to proactively identify risks-such as when a release is not ready-and make decisions to move work to the appropriate environment or timeline. This is a highly visible role that requires strong organization, communication, and the ability to balance multiple streams of work while maintaining a consistent weekly release cadence tied to product launches. This role is 4 days on site and 1 remote in St. Louis, MO.
