Job Description

Director, Digital Delivery - Senior Staff Are you looking for an opportunity to help lead how complex design and construction projects are executed day-to-day? Do you have a strong ability to connect data, technology, and project teams to keep schedules, budgets, and resources on track? WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As the Director of Digital Delivery, you'll drive how BIM/VDC activities and workflows are planned, executed, and tracked across the entire project lifecycle. In collaboration with project teams and firm leadership, this position will provide the opportunity to shape, strengthen, and expand data-driven digital delivery across the entire project lifecycle:
Project Planning & Execution:
Ensure projects have appropriate staffing, clear deliverables, and BIM/VDC workflows and standards are implemented consistently.
Project Reporting & Data-Driven Insights:
Develop dashboards and reporting tied to model progress, coordination status, and project performance to better inform cost, schedule, and issue resolution.
Pre-Con, Construction, and Turnover:
Develop and oversee project-level workflows supporting model- or field-driven project intelligence (4D, 5D, etc.) Digital Tools for
Delivery:
Ensure staff are appropriately trained and supported as required for successful adoption of new tools, workflows, or technologies. Responsibilities Your focus will be on continuing to develop our team and capabilities, establishing BIM/VDC as a central unifying pillar across the entire project. This is a client-facing role both internally and externally. In support of these efforts, the following is a list of primary responsibilities of this role: Proactively and consistently communicate with key project stakeholders to ensure alignment, visibility, and shared understanding of priorities and progress. Collect/provide feedback on BIM/VDC tools and workflows; help translate them into actionable improvement items. Participate in proposal development and drive the creation of project-based Digital Execution Plans. Manage BIM staff (professional development, resource planning, mentoring, etc.) Effectively communicate BIM/VDC plans, benefits, risks, and capabilities to clients, consultants, and CMs. Manage onboarding and training content, processes, and evaluations. Minimum Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). 12+ years of experience in BIM/VDC, digital delivery, construction technology, or related roles Strong proficiency with BIM/VDC and digital tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, ACC, Dynamo, Power BI, Excel) Proven ability to translate complex project data into actionable insights, executive reporting, and improved delivery performance Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and drive outcomes across multiple projects and stakeholders with minimal oversight. Preferred Qualifications BIM/VDC certifications (e.g., Autodesk, CM-BIM, buildingSMART/IFC, Lean/Six Sigma) Leadership experience in complex delivery models (Design-Build, EPCM, CM-at-Risk, life sciences/industrial) Strong organization, time management, and stakeholder alignment skills Experience driving technology adoption, change, and continuous improvement Candidates with previous supervisory or team leadership experience will be given preference.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Extended periods of sitting while working at a computer, with frequent use of keyboard and mouse, and multiple monitors. Ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings View, interpret, and discuss digital models and drawings Visual acuity sufficient for detailed on-screen models and drawings Hearing and verbal communication are sufficient for meetings and coordination calls Occasional local or regional travel to project sites, offices, or client meetings Ability to walk active construction sites (when required); Navigate stairs, uneven surfaces, or temporary site conditions Minimal lifting of laptops, monitors, or printed materials, generally no more than 10-25 pounds.
