Contract Role Overview We are seeking an Epic PB Manager for a contract position to lead a critical Epic Professional Billing (PB) consolidation project. This role is responsible for driving the project team to meet key deadlines, resolving blockers, and ensuring successful go-live and stabilization. The ideal candidate will take immediate ownership of the team and its outcomes in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of approximately 8 Epic PB analysts, providing direction and ensuring the completion of all build and configuration tasks. Conduct daily team stand-ups to review status, identify blockers, and assign next steps to maintain project momentum. Serve as the primary liaison between the technical team and operations leadership to clarify requirements and facilitate decision-making. Track and drive the completion of all project tasks, including build items, testing activities, and operational readiness planning. Manage stakeholder expectations and escalate critical issues to project and executive leadership as necessary to remove barriers. Oversee the quality and completeness of the team\'s build activities, providing expert guidance without being the primary builder. Ensure a smooth post-go-live stabilization period by prioritizing and managing the resolution of high-priority defects.

Required Qualifications Experience:

Proven experience leading Epic PB teams, ideally progressing from a hands-on analyst to a manager or consultant role. Recent, hands-on experience as an Epic PB analyst. Strong understanding of the Epic implementation lifecycle, including consolidation projects, testing phases, and go-live readiness. Demonstrated ability to manage teams in high-pressure, deadline-driven project environments.

Technical Skills:

Epic PB Certification is required. Proficiency with standard Epic project structures, such as workgroups, build tasks, and work queues.

Leadership Skills:

Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate between technical and operational stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple parallel workstreams effectively. Resilience and the ability to handle pressure and drive results within a challenging, time-boxed project. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Epic Claims is beneficial. Work Expectations The position operates on Central Time (CT), including mandatory daily stand-up meetings at 7:45 AM CT. This is a remote-friendly role. The ability to travel for key project milestones, such as go-live support, is preferred.
