Home Delivery Manager Flatbed

Job Overview:

One of the largest home delivery and distribution companies in the U.S. is seeking an experienced Home Delivery Manager (HDM) to oversee delivery operations within an assigned market. This is a hybrid role — not fully remote. While some administrative work can be done from home, this position requires regular travel to assigned stores and in-field support of drivers . The HDM plays a critical role in ensuring daily routes are executed efficiently, drivers are supported in real time, and customer expectations are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations of delivery drivers across multiple store locations Act as the primary point of contact for driver support, issues, and escalations Oversee routing, route adjustments, and delivery execution Conduct daily driver check-ins to ensure route readiness Travel to stores to support operations and resolve issues as needed Ensure all service levels and customer contract requirements are met or exceeded Recruit, onboard, and retain qualified drivers Maintain strong relationships with drivers, store teams, and contract partners Enforce SOPs and ensure performance metrics are consistently achieved

What This Role Requires:

Ability to manage a fast-paced delivery operation Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Comfort working both remotely and in the field High level of accountability and follow-through Ability to manage multiple stores, drivers, and priorities at once

Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years of transportation, logistics, or last-mile delivery experience Experience managing drivers or delivery teams
