Job Summary:
The Mail Services & Facilities Supervisor (MSFS) oversees and facilitates day to day functions of mail services. This position manages the bank's Mail Center, mailroom employees, and mailroom vendor relationships. This role also handles supply management and facilities management for the bank, providing the bank's internal and external customers with good and timely facilities management service. This position also provides support to the Facilities & Property Management Officer on projects for the bank as directed by the Manager, Facilities & Property Management. Primary Functions and/or
Responsibilities:
Mail Services:
Oversees the daily operation of the mail center and the mailroom employees Monitors, evaluates, and directs the mailroom employees Manages relationships with the company's mail services vendors, including promoting, building and evaluating vendor relationships Communicates on a regular basis to share information on any and all projects
Supply Management:
Oversees the bank's supplies and coordinates with other Mail Services employees to ensure timely delivery of said supplies Manages relationships with the company's supply vendors, including office supplies and coffee supplies
Facilities:
Oversees and manages work orders and small projects within the Ruan building Assists Facilities & Property Management Officer with any facilities related projects for the bank, when needed Ensures facilities are clean and functional to portray a professional image to the public and employees Ensures a safe environment and removes hazards when identified Participates as an active member of the bank's Evacuation Committee by attending all meetings and participating in the committee's training exercises Assists in providing senior management with information on the condition of the bank's facilities, including helping with updated project lists Performs other duties as assigned Education and/or
Experience:
At least four years of previous mailroom and/or facilities experience required Four years of supervisory experience preferred Two-year post-secondary degree/specialized study preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Ability to communicate with both internal and external bank customers Knowledge and understanding of Post Office rules and regulations Knowledge of Postal mailing equipment Hiring Salary Range The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions.
Hiring Base Salary Range:
