Duties Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control. Support inventory management efforts by maintaining accurate records using warehouse management systems such as AS400 and other logistics software. Coordinate warehouse distribution activities to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment for e-commerce and 3PL clients. Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance materials handling, reduce errors, and increase productivity across warehouse functions. Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance on forklift operation, heavy lifting safety, and OSHA compliance standards. Oversee shipping and receiving procedures, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize warehouse layout, implement best practices, and support continuous process enhancements. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision within a fast-paced distribution environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management, materials handling, and logistics operations. Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms. Valid forklift certification and mechanical knowledge for safe operation of equipment. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards related to heavy lifting and materials handling. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Experience working with e-commerce fulfillment centers or 3PL providers is highly desirable.
