Job Description Summary Position Objective:
The Content Distribution Manager is responsible for the technical development, quality assurance, and delivery of all digital marketing content throughout the customer journey. This role bridges creative strategy and technical execution, partnering closely with Content Managers and Creative Production teams to deploy marketing assets. The Manager owns the "Definition of Done" for campaign implementation, ensuring every deployment is technically flawless, properly segmented, and optimized for delivery.
Position Responsibilities:
Strategic Platform & Workflow Execution Architect end-to-end deployment workflows by translating high-level marketing strategies into technical executable roadmaps within the digital ecosystem. Oversee multi-channel digital publishing, ensuring that content distribution meets established quality and responsiveness standards. Manage advanced audience segmentation and logic-based deployment strategies to ensure personalized content reaches high-value segments with precision. Direct dynamic content configuration, leveraging customer data to drive relevant, automated interactions throughout the customer lifecycle. Operational Governance & Compliance Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for content deployment to improve team efficiency and ensure repeatable, high-quality results. Lead the quality assurance (QA) framework, overseeing rigorous testing protocols for technical tracking, device rendering, and branching logic. Manage data privacy and legal compliance, ensuring all outbound communications adhere to global communication preferences and data protection regulations. Content Lifecycle & System Synchronization Integrate digital asset management (DAM) strategies into the deployment lifecycle to ensure consistent, up-to-date resources are utilized across all channels. Supervise data synchronization audits between content platforms and core data sources to validate the integrity of triggered and personalized campaigns. Orchestrate real-time content updates, coordinating with production and creative teams to manage expired assets and maintain a current digital footprint. Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment Lead a high-performance team of content specialists, providing mentorship and setting clear delivery expectations. Drive cross-functional collaboration between strategy, creative, and product management teams to align technical requirements with business goals. Manage technical sprint planning, assessing feasibility and defining deployment requirements to ensure timely project delivery. Analyze performance and technical health metrics, partnering with analytics teams to monitor engagement trends and resolve systemic technical issues.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise-level tools like HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Marketo. Experience managing delivery teams. Proficiency in
HTML/CSS
for email development and troubleshooting. Experience with CMS and Digital Asset Management platforms (Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe DAM preferred). Experience working in Agile frameworks (Scrum and Kanban) with a focus on continuous improvement. Exceptional attention to detail with ability to identify technical errors, broken links, or logic gaps that could impact customer experience. Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. Base Pay Range:
$98,573.00 - 135,537.60 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
