Job Description

In 1989, Wikoff's first continual improvement department was established, adopting a Total Quality Management approach. Over the years, the department has matured and expanded its vision to include not only oversight of the quality management system, but also training programs and employee safety while adopting other improvement methodologies such as lean and six sigma.
Position Overview:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all plant-level logistics, warehousing, and material flow operations to ensure safe, accurate, and timely movement of raw materials and finished goods. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role leads the Logistics Coordinator, Warehouse Supervisor, and Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support production continuity and on-time customer delivery. The Logistics & Warehouse Manager plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and transportation coordination aligned with plant and distribution objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations, including receiving, storage, staging, and shipment Lead and develop warehouse and logistics staff to ensure performance, safety, and accountability Ensure inventory accuracy through disciplined controls, cycle counts, and ERP system alignment Coordinate shipment scheduling with Production, Planning, and Customer Service teams Monitor freight execution and carrier performance at the plant level Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and transportation regulations Drive continuous improvement in warehouse layout, material handling, and workflow efficiency Other duties assigned by management
Key Deliverables:
Accurate inventory records with minimal discrepancies On-time shipment execution aligned with OTIF targets Efficient warehouse operations with organized and audit-ready facilities Reduced material handling errors and shipment delays Improved labor utilization and warehouse productivity

Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Coordinator, Shipping & Receiving Clerk Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred) Relevant warehouse or logistics certifications preferred
Required Experience:
8-12 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution within a manufacturing environment Prior leadership experience managing warehouse or logistics teams Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and ERP platforms Experience coordinating freight, carriers, and plant-level transportation activities Strong organizational, problem-solving, and team leadership skills

Effort/Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
