Job Description

Poster Invasion is a woman-owned social enterprise that runs pop-up events on college campuses nationwide. We are based in Greenville, SC and this role is part of our warehouse team. We are seeking a driven, intelligent, adaptable, and organized Assistant Manager to compliment our experienced existing team. This role assists the warehouse manager with various tasks, including inventory control, quality oversight, pulling and shipping, receiving, and preparations for our teams that run the events. The cyclical nature of the business means that the job tasks change through the course of the year to always keep things interesting and far from a traditional pick & pack style operation. An individual with a knack for order and organization, solid spreadsheet skills, and desire to work in a very collaborative workplace would thrive in this position. Our operation is high pressure during our selling season of about 15 weeks, but we spend the rest of the year in preparation mode. To be successful in this role you will have to be cognizant of work pacing and be able to hold yourself to internal deadlines, anticipate how long tasks will take, and consistently work ahead. Responsibilities Reports to Warehouse Manager & COO Hands on management of over 1000's of SKUs of posters, accessories, store furnishings and equipment Bi-annual inventory counts reporting on all SKUs Hands on counting, pulling and allocating stock for our event teams Continuous improvement of our processes and adhering to existing procedures Pulling and prepping stock for multiple pop-up store locations twice a year Using excel and POS system to update and control stock levels Executing restock shipments on a tight turnaround during heavy season (August-October) shipping out 3-5 shipments per day Communicating with tour teams regarding stock levels, tracking and troubleshooting package shipments, securing addresses, and prepping and pulling stock based on sales volume Organizing and counting all team supplies and furnishings and ordering, rebuilding and replacing any broken or missing items Building carts, shelves and racks as needed Receiving, stocking, shelving and racking large shipments of many varieties Organizing, cleaning, labeling items in warehouse Abiding by workplace safety rules and exhibiting safe behavior at all times Operating forklift and other warehouse equipment Inspect shipments received for quality/damage and logging discrepancies Repairing display materials, including sewing and patching vinyl poster pages Training pop-up tour teams on stock management and event execution Operate "on call" when active events are running, assisting teams with stock/restock as needed Assist

as needed Occasional travel as needed Skills Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet software (Google Sheets & Excel) Ability to perform independent work with minimal oversight Team orientation, and ability to build new relationships from scratch Comfort with inventory, counts, and numerical work in general Planning ability that facilitates scheduling tasks and hitting timelines Benefits Company holidays and most federal holidays are observed, including Juneteenth.
