Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Staff:
Ability to oversee and effectively communicate with the driver and warehouse crew team members. Assist in recruiting and interviewing of warehouse candidates Schedule Flexibility This individual must have flexibility in schedule to cover morning, mid, or evening shift as needed. Scheduled shift is Mon - Fri 10:00am - 6:00pm (until last driver returned and checked in) Must be flexible to cover morning shift or evening shift as needed for vacations, call offs, etc.
Order Fulfillment:
Utilize Perfect Order tracking and data to improve receiving and order fulfillment accuracy.
Investigate errors daily:
Mis pull, Not On Truck, etc. Ensuring accurate picking, packing, and staging products for outbound shipments and transfers.
Shipping & Receiving:
Oversee and assist with loading and/or unloading trucks at the receiving dock. Ensure accuracy of put away on inbound shipments Reconcile received shipments for accuracy. Communicate with appropriate channels to ensure accurate inventory and product received.
Fleet & Material Handling:
Operating warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to move and organize materials. Track equipment maintenance and repairs.
Fleet:
monitor, track, and schedule fleet maintenance utilizing Penske Fleet Insight tool Ensure all fleet are in compliance with DOT requirements Monitor and track GeoTab use and compliance with all drivers for accurate recording of HOS and DOT logs.
Inventory Management:
Daily stocking, organizing, and verifying inventory to ensure proper location and levels. Complete weekly cycle counting and inventory replenishment daily. Investigate inventory discrepancies regularly.
Delivery & Routing:
Manage nightly delivery routes for efficient on time deliveries Monitor logistics request dashboard for Sales Rep requests Communicate with Sales team regularly Monitor and manage load sheets on daily basis
Safety & Maintenance:
Maintaining a clean, safe work environment, identifying hazards, and conducting basic equipment maintenance. Participate in Safety Committee for TN.
Quality Assurance:
Performing quality checks on products and ensuring replenishment and bin inventories are accurate for Perfect Order execution tracking. Adherence to
Standards:
Following safety protocols and meeting departmental production standards.
Skill Requirements:
Shows up every day ready to dive-in, with a positive attitude Detail oriented and organized Self-starter, demonstrating the ability to multi-task and manage a priority list Excellent professional communication skills Experience with warehouse power equipment: forklifts, reach trucks, stock pickers, and pallet jacks. Literate in Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel and Microsoft Teams. Capacity to learn ERP software system, and navigate it efficiently.
