Warehouse Manager

This leadership role directs the comprehensive flow of goods through a distribution environment, from initial intake to final outbound processing. The position focuses on optimizing operational efficiency, maintaining precise inventory controls, and leading a team to achieve key performance indicators related to productivity, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.

Core Responsibilities:

Direct and synchronize all aspects of daily distribution center operations, including product intake, storage organization, order fulfillment, and outbound logistics Develop and implement staff training programs, performance management, and scheduling strategies to meet operational demands Maintain inventory integrity through systematic cycle counting, periodic audits, and discrepancy resolution protocols Track and analyze operational data to identify trends, measure performance against benchmarks, and drive continuous improvement Implement and monitor compliance with safety protocols and security measures in accordance with regulatory requirements Collaborate with transportation, procurement, and supply chain partners to ensure seamless coordination of product movement Address and resolve operational challenges, including inventory variances, product damage incidents, and process inefficiencies Oversee maintenance and proper utilization of material handling equipment, including lifting devices and storage systems Champion process optimization initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency, space utilization, and overall operational performance

Required Background:

Academic credential in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline 3-6 years of distribution environment experience, with 2-4 years in a leadership capacity Comprehensive understanding of distribution center operations and inventory control methodologies Proficiency with enterprise resource planning systems and standard business software applications

Preferred Credentials:

Certification in material handling equipment operation Experience in a production-focused manufacturing environment
