Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and strategic Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing processes, and leading a team to ensure efficient supply chain and logistics functions. This role requires strong leadership skills, expertise in warehouse management systems, and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management principles to support organizational growth and operational excellence. Mandrin is requred. Duties Lead and supervise daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Develop and implement process improvements utilizing Lean methodologies and continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Manage transportation planning, including freight coordination, fleet management, and working with 3PL providers. Oversee procurement, purchasing, and materials management to ensure timely availability of stock and supplies. Utilize ERP systems such as AS400 and warehouse management systems to monitor inventory levels, analyze supply chain data, and optimize workflows. Coordinate with production planning teams to align warehouse activities with manufacturing schedules. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all staff. Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and analyze profit & loss statements related to warehouse operations. Oversee shipping & receiving processes, including freight management and dispatching. Manage warehouse distribution activities ensuring accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery. Supervise staff including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a team-oriented environment. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a logistics or supply chain environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400, transportation management systems (TMS), and supply chain analytics tools. Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience with inventory management, demand planning, production planning, procurement, and freight/shipping & receiving processes. Familiarity with transportation planning, fleet management (including forklift operation), 3PL coordination, NVOCC operations, and materials management. Demonstrated ability in budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and supply chain optimization. Supervising experience with excellent leadership skills; capable of managing teams effectively in fast-paced environments. Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize data for decision-making in logistics operations. Relevant certifications or training in logistics or supply chain management are preferred.
